I heard about the BBQ place near the South Point and have to go check this place out now.

I absolutely love those small hole-in-the-wall gems that no one knows of!

If anyone has any suggestions I would love to check them out.

What's the name of the place?

Meantime I have been enjoying a Korean place on the southwest corner of Jones and Sahara. (don't know the name).

It turns I remember the best places for their food, not their names.

Oh awesome!  I definately will!  What is the other cross street for the place on spring mountain?

And the name of the BBQ place is Cajun BBQ but for now their sign still reads "K's BBQ".  It is just north of the South Point.  Try their brisket.....it really does melt in your mouth, and for only 6.99, makes a very affordable lunch sandwhich!  And don't forget their sides, all home made.  Collared greens to die for.  Candied yams that are just wonderful.

Oh, here's another little place for you.  If you're headed on Lake Mead out towards Lakes of Las Vegas, there is this....shack on your right.  Amazing hotdogs!  I had their sausage and my mouth was in bliss!  Nothing gormet.....but just classic street type food.

Anyhow, any little out of the way places where you can get a great meal at a decent price?

Oh, I also tried the Basil and Ginger place suggested by John Curtis which is over on Ft. Apache a few blocks north of Flamingo.  I was very very pleased!  Definately beats ol' Archies.
