On November 9, Agassi Andre appeared on NEWS 88.9 KNPR's State of Nevada to promote his new book Open: An Autobiography.

       In his book, he speaks of drug use, the roller-coaster his career and personal life became in the 1990s and his eventual decision to retire in 2006. Agassi talks about all that before he embarks on a national tour to promote the book. Listen | Download Mp3

       Jerry Nadal, senior vice president, Cirque du Soleil, Resident Shows Division and a Nevada Public Radio board member, is pictured below with Nevada Public Radio General Manager Flo Rogers and characters from "O" by Cirque du Soleil prior to the two benefit performances of the show on October 2. Cirque's "O" is celebrating its 11th year at Bellagio. The evening's benefit raised $20,000 for Nevada Public Radio.
