City of Henderson has 'Trails Photo Contest'

The City of Henderson's "Trails Photo Contest" will accept submissions through August 31. Entries must feature a City of Henderson trail.

Categories include views from the trail with and without people (color), positive trail use (color), plants and wildlife along the trail (color), general trail photos (black and white), and River Mountains Loop Trail (color, black and white). Winners in each category will have their photographs displayed during the National Trails Day Celebration, sponsored by the City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department on October 9.

The contest is open to all ages, but those under 17 must have a parent or guardian's signature on the entry form. More details and the entry form are here.
